I would like to move away from the exciting and fast paced world of Student Financial Matters and become a zoo keeper. Or run a pet shop.
Now I just need someone to arrange this for me.

Oh thank you my funkylicious friend! In the past 5 minutes I've decided on vet nursing too - the childhood dream (never had delusions of being a vet). In the meantime maybe I should apply for Chester Zoo's postion of Elephant Keeper. I have experience of working with unyielding and slightly unresponsive creatures. It's called retail.

Hmmmmm! Don't hold out too many hopes there sweety. My daughter tried but there seem to be no 'on job training ' options. It's a case of night school for years and at the end of it the pay is abysmal. Too many animal lovers following their dream .
Er, funky, we're supposed to be affirming my life here. Words of encouragement!!!!
LOL Sorry. Too many years trying to stop my own kids being disappointed.
I am a zoo keeper which I run outta my house- think - 3 dawgs, 1 kity, 5 birds and several fish tanks...but I do have a day job that helps pay for these animals...but I believe you want a total career change...
YES a major career change! And I'm only 4 months into my current one!
Zoo keeper sounds good, sapped.
Or how about dolphin trainer? In California, of course. I used to quite fancy that as a kid. But then I also had a thing about working with sharks. Figured in the end I could work with both. Get them mixed up on a bad day and it's end of career, of course. But hey, what a life while it lasted.
Nate.
